DAY 1: WELCOME IN THE SIERRA NORTE OF MADRID

08:00-09:00 Arrival at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport and personalized reception.

09:00-10:30 Transfer by electric vehicle to sustainable accommodation in Buitrago del Lozoya, a walled village by the river.

10:30-11:30 Check-in in rural accommodation with energy certification A, breakfast of zero-kilometre products and reusable amenities.

14:00-15:30 Lunch in a restaurant with a menu based on seasonal products. Specialty: vegan mountain pot. Dessert: Berries.

16:00-18:00 Circular trail through the Riosequillo reservoir (2 km).

21:00-22:30 Dinner at the accommodation restaurant: organic trout with citrus emulsion and DO Madrid wine (Organic Malvar white).

DAY 2: FROM ARTISAN BREAD TO TEMPLAR ART

08:00-09:00 Breakfast at the accommodation.

09:30-11:00 Visit to the artesanal bread and pasta workshop in La Hiruela. Participation in the production of anise cakes and cendeal bread.

11:30-12:30 Visit to the Transhumance Interpretation Centre, with anecdotes of how the Templar shepherds influenced the medieval routes in the area.

14:00-15:30 Lunch in a restaurant in Montejo de la Sierra, with wood-fired oven. Specialty: roasted wild mushroom plant, lavender ice cream and organic red wine from century-old vines.

16:00-17:30 Forest bathing and 3.5 km route through millenary chestnut trees (PR-30).

21:00-22:30 Dinner at the accommodation: cream of boletus and vegan cheese, paired with rosé wine from San Martín de Valdeiglesias.

DAY 3: HEROIC VINEYARDS AND RURAL CINEMA

08:00-09:00 Breakfast, check-out at the accommodation and transfer to Gredos and Tiétar.

09:30-11:00 Visit to an organic winery in Cebreros with tasting and explanation of heroic viticulture on terraces.

11:30-12:30 Walk through the vineyards and visit to Villanueva de la Vera, where the scenes of While at War by Alejandro Amenábar were filmed.

14:00-15:30 Lunch in a black architecture restaurant. Specialty: vegan chickpea stew from La Moraña and quince mousse. Wine: Organic Grenache.

DAY 4: WATER, AROMAS AND STARS

11:30-13:00 Wellness experience in a spa with access to mineral-medicinal waters and relaxing massage of essential oils.

DAY 5: TREASURES OF AVILA AND RETURN

09:30-11:30 Visit to the old town of Ávila and house of Santa Teresa, making a literary tour of the walled city.

11:30-13:00 Free walk through the garden of San Vicente.

14:00-15:30 Farewell lunch in Ávila. Specialty: Barco beans with boletus mushrooms, Santa Teresa yolks with local liqueur (vegan menu and children's menu available).

TGTE merely mentions the specialty for which it is recognized in the market. It will always be direct payment. All of our restaurants offer vegan options, allergy-friendly menus, and children's menus. It is essential to communicate in advance. The menus will be informed in the final communication of the itinerary.
Dinners will be held in the same hotels where the accommodation is located. Anything not included in the menu will be at the customer's expense.
For quality reasons or for issues related to the establishments or venues to be visited, TGTE may change the order of the program or the content, without prior notice.

❖ Late arrival to activities: It is the client's responsibility to show up punctually to the scheduled activities. In case of delay, the activity will be considered cancelled without the right to a refund.

❖Official schedules and changes outside of hours: The activities will take place according to the established official schedules. If the client wishes to make changes or schedule activities outside of official hours, this may be done at an additional charge, subject to availability. It is recommended to consult beforehand to manage the necessary adjustments.

❖Confirmation voucher: Once the booking is reconfirmed, TGTE will provide the final itinerary along with the confirmation of all the services included in the trip. Throughout the route, the customer must have in paper or digital format the confirmation of all the services provided by TGTE to present in the establishments.

❖TGTE reserves the right to modify or change activities without prior notice to ensure the quality of the tour.

❖The published prices are subject to possible changes due to reasons beyond our organization’s control, arising from factors such as occupancy, limited availability in certain services, or changes in supplier conditions (releases). Rates and availability will be reconfirmed at the time of booking to ensure final availability and price. If the client does not agree with the price, the reservation may be canceled within 48 hours without penalty, and any paid deposit will be refunded.
